What is your routine-do you use powder, etc?
Also, I don’t think I’m going to get a changing table. Instead I think I will have a kit to move around the house- do you use alternatives to changing tables? Do you just dig in the diaper bag when you need to change baby’s diaper? Or if you have a kit in a basket or something, how many do you have around the house?

does it really make a big change to ur baby’s sleeping pattern. especially those who have sleepless night. after using a grobag, did ur baby sleep thru the nite without waking up anymore. i m doing a survey and would like to have more opinion first before getting a grobag myself as it is very expensive in my country. thanks!!!

My son is 11 months and the changing bag I originally had for him I never use, it’s tiny and fits approximately nothing inside, I just got the cheapest thing I could find at the time, so I end up shoving all the stuff I need in an overfilled handbag or in the bottom of the pram. So I thought it was about time I bought an actual bag and thought I might get one as an early Christmas present to myself (out of the Christmas money I’ll get!) that will double up as a handbag – found this – http://www.johnlewis.com/230409387/Produ… which I love – but do you think it’s silly to buy an expensive ish changing bag when he’s this age already? I wouldn’t mind spending that if I was going to get a lot of use out of it, but how old were your babies when you stopped using a changing bag?

I took my 7 m old to his first swimming lesson today and I was so disappointed that I’m considering canceling. Prams were not allowed so I had to carry my baby and two bags.I had to change him on a wooden bench and leave all my bags on the floor under the bench because there was no lockers. Then I wanted to get rid of poopy nappy but there was no bin so I had to put in in my bag.Lesson lasted half an hour and was fun enough. But when the lesson finished there were 8 mums and 8 babies around the bench where only 2 babies could be changed at one time so I had to wait 15 minutes with crying wet baby in my arms. Finally when It was my turn I had to put wet swim nappy in my bag because again there was no bin, and then I realized that there was nowhere I could change because that change bench was just next to the pool and mums dads grandmas and grandpas around. There was a toilet but I would’ve had to leave my baby on the bench unattended, so I had to put my clothes on over the wet swimsuit and drive home in 10 degrees C.When we got home and had shower both me and my baby were still smelling of chlorine. Now, do I have the right to expect a bit more after pain130 $ for a few swimming lessons, or am I unreasonable?I deliberately avoided public pools and went to physio instead thinking their facilities and service would be better and there would be less chlorine.Has anyone else taken their babies to baby swim and what were your experiences.

im 30weeks and only need a changing bag, hospital bag, and baby monitors, then im sorted
how many weeks pregnant were you when you were fully ready?

I delivered my son 7yrs ago and right after completing my 4th month, i started shopping bit by bit for him. Everyday i would go for a small walk and collect things like booties, mittens, changing mats etc. I collected them one by one as i went for walking everyday and loved doing that bit of shopping every day for my baby. All the other major things i purchased when i went for a big shopping with my husband. I even packed my baby’s bag when i was just 30weeks.Now i am pregnant again and i am in my 24th week and ive already collected some decent amount of things for my baby. I am just curious to know what yall did/do.I mean in which month/week did you start your shopping & what are all the things that you had already got for that little bundle of joy of yours? :-) I am all excited and just looking at all those tiny stuffs… be it in internet pictures or in the shops. Oh they all look so lovely. And shopping for baby items excites me. How about sharing your excitement and experience? :-)

This baby sleeps all through the night all through the day withought waking up to eat or be changed and when he does get up he is so tiered that he cannot force himself to eat, the poor baby has bags under his eyes and is very lifeless he is 4 months old is this normal?

My sister is getting a baby born doll the boy one. But we wanted to know if theres any websites that do all the clothes for it and if there is a website that does the change bag for the baby born doll but in blue.
Thanxs for any help. x

(Sorry this is so long! Many thanks in advance to those who reply!)
We are at week 34 awaiting the arrival of our Babygirl. Gifts and hand-me-downs are starting to come in that we’re marking off the “need to get” list (per Babies R Us).
We still have lots we need to get, so I wanted to ask for your opinions. For all those moms and dads out there, I have attached, below, the Babies R Us “Parents Checklist.” What is necessary? What is not? What is invaluable? What did you get on a whim and are eternally grateful for having? What turned out to be nothing but junk? What brands are the best (i.e., I hear that Boudreaux’s “Butt Paste” is the best there is)?
I’m starting to scout out Craigslist and eBay for deals (who the heck knew breast pumps were unbelievably expensive??? At least I can get new, in box items from eBay and save a few if I watch like a hawk!). If any of you have insights that you would share, we would be very grateful. Thanks!
