The room really isn’t that big, a changing table can fit but it will be kind of packed with the glider, crib, daybed, dresser etc. If I dont get one is it practical to have to change the baby on the daybed? Is there some kind of waterproof padding for this? (and not the small one that comes in a diaper bag)

While we were out for lunch today my daughter filled her diaper. My husband and I kinda take turns with the yucky diapers. So I said “haha it’s your turn!”. He then tells me that there are no changing tables in mens rooms. Is this true or was he just trying to get out of changing a poopy diaper?

hop into bed, skip the foreplay and get to the jump.!

i saw the kate spade one but is so ex… any cheaper ones? i like those simple and nice design..

I am in the process of compiling a ‘what to buy’ list for my sister. I have tried to include everything I needed for my baby plus a few other bits.

I went to a very pubilc amusment park and was frusterated because none of the men’s rooms had changing tables for me to use. I ended up just having to changer the diapers out in the open in front of everyone. I should have deposited the poopy pants into the suggestion box. Do you think that would have given them a clue?

I do not. Unless you think babies can defecate and urinate wherever and whenever it is not viable and poor countries such as in asia and africa are being irresponsible by avoiding diapers however that is part of the third-world lifestyle i suppose.
From an environmental and personal viewpoint, getting rid of diapers would be a godsend since they are negative things that get full of baby junk. the tv commercials are a waste and baby-changing stations could be gone from public bathrooms hence freeing up some space. plus, nobodys going to miss those ugly diaper bags.
unfortunately there is no way to reconcile these two arguments because diapers are a necessary evil and they are here to stay.

I always have heard this expression…but I never did understand how far it really was..

ive been wanting to pack babys bag past couple of days, and even though i have a fair idea of what to put in there does anyone have any ideas? specially for the changing bag for when you go out and things, and the bag you take to hospital. simply so i know if theres anything else to buy.
btw im in the UK and having baby on the good ol’ NHS so not expecting them to provide anything, as seems to be the case if you go private or are in the states.

I’ll be flying on a 767-300 ER which I understands has no changing tables for infants. HAs anyone flown on this aircraft who knows what others do or where you could reasonably change an infant?

Did this ever happened to you??????

So you want to buy a knife but you are not sure if you want to buy a pocketknife or a folding knife.  What is the difference anyway – don’t they both fold??  Well, yes – that is true, but there are differences.

Pocket Knife – According to Wikipedia, “a pocketknife is a folding knife with a blade that fits inside the handle and that is small enough to fit in a pocket.”  Most modern pocketknives are for light duty – and are a convenient tool for those many little tasks you might run into when other knives are not handy. Pocket knives have blades that are held in place – open or shut – by a spring mechanism, allowing the user to open and shut the blade easily.  Pocketknives come with single or multiple blades and some have additional tools and even forks and spoons – many options depending on your purpose.  One drawback to this type of pocketknife – since the blade does not lock open, it can be closed inadvertently.

A Folding Knife, on the other hand, is usually a little bigger, stronger, and has some sort of locking mechanism to hold the blade open. Because of this added strength, they can handle heavier duty tasks.  But since they are bigger, they are normally carried in sheaths, not in the pocket.  This locking mechanism makes the folding knives a little safer because the lock prevents the blade from accidentally being closed.  These knives come in many styles and usually have only one blade.

Before you buy a knife, you should check local knife carry laws.  Most pocketknives are legal to carry (except in places like courthouses, schools, etc).  Whether a knife is “legal” to carry is usually determined by blade length – from my limited research, knives with blades of less than 3 ½ – 4 inches are usually legal – but do check your local laws.

IN SUMMARY – A small personal knife is a valuable tool that has many uses – I actually carry two most of the time – no matter what purpose you have for a knife I know there is a knife just for that purpose – whether it is a pocket knife or folding knife – the choice is virtually endless – enjoy the shopping – find the right knife for you – buy it – and take care of your knife so it will serve you for many years.

My friend 20 years or so ago Vince (can’t remember his last name) was talking about how it would be great if there was something where if you had a thing where it dispensed the diaper and the stuff you needed. Because i mean how many times have you had your kids have an accident and not have a diaper bag or your car is parked somewhere out of your way
please help and thanks in advanced
