I have noticed a new trend. Stores such as Jewel/Borders/Wal-Mart are now using baby changing tables to store rolls of toilet paper on. Not just the small rolls we use at home. The giant rolls of toilet paper they use in dispensers at the stores. Our local Borders had the toilet paper stacked 8 rolls high. Be careful. Take a look. If you find it, tell the manager right away. Baby changing tables are for changing babies not for storing toilet paper.
Many more fathers are taking care of kids and helping moms and we need to be able to change our children. I kind of understand building built before men got more involved. But I have been to brand new establishments with no changing table in the men’s room or a family restroom. My wife has the flu so I took my daughter out on Sunday and three places did not have changing tables.
Those things are disgusting. There are so many germs on it. Not to mention not everyone takes good care of their baby. And its not cleaned after every use. The market that I used to work at didnt clean theirs at all because they didnt think anyone used it. Why do people insist on using those dirty things?
I am asking because tonight, I was at the mall with my grandmother and my daughter. My daughter wet her diaper and my grandma offered to take her to the ladies room and change her. And I said I would rather take her to the car because me and my fiancee dont use those things.
It seems to me like it would mean buying an additional piece of furtinture that would cost money and take up space. Can’t you just change thier diaper in the crib, on a blanket on the floor, etc, and then store diapers near the crib and other areas where changing is likely?
While at Walmart this morning my little one decided to poop so I took her into the restroom but I wasnt sure whether or not to use that changing table thing they got on the wall. So i just reclined her stroller seat and changed her diaper in there. Wasnt sure how dirty that thing was.
Do you like either of these?????http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/…http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/…
While we were out for lunch today my daughter filled her diaper. My husband and I kinda take turns with the yucky diapers. So I said “haha it’s your turn!”. He then tells me that there are no changing tables in mens rooms. Is this true or was he just trying to get out of changing a poopy diaper?
I went to a very pubilc amusment park and was frusterated because none of the men’s rooms had changing tables for me to use. I ended up just having to changer the diapers out in the open in front of everyone. I should have deposited the poopy pants into the suggestion box. Do you think that would have given them a clue?
I’ll be flying on a 767-300 ER which I understands has no changing tables for infants. HAs anyone flown on this aircraft who knows what others do or where you could reasonably change an infant?
If you are planning on buying a new coffee table then you must be sure that you have the correct design style in mind. Take a look around the room you want to put the table in and if you decide that you have a more traditional style then you are going to want to buy a table that is made of darker or lighter hardwoods with tops ranging from marble to glass to stone.
If you look around the room and decide that you have a more modern décor then you should focus on finding a table that matches the color scheme and features a more industrial base (like industrial metals) with glass, metal, or plastic tops (and don’t let the fact that it is plastic throw you because plastics made for furniture are very durable and can actually last longer than woods or metals).
An example of a modern and contemporary table would be the Walker Edison Wave Oval Coffee Table. This table is very distinctive and features lines that are curved and lower shelves that are frosted. This table features three levels and each of the levels is made with safety glass (tempered glass). The legs are made of a sturdy chrome which gives the table a very sleek and yet rugged look. The lower levels feature frosted glass that’s very beautiful and is a perfect place for some contemporary accessories.
This is just one example of the type of table you should be looking for if you have a more modern and contemporary décor in your home.
